Procedure: |
Sit on the ground, stretch the legs in front and keep distance between legs. Then keep your right hand under thelast leg knee. Stretch left hand straight and bend the trunk, to the left side and touch the left toe with the left hand. Similarly do with other hand also. |

This asana relieves the stiffness of the neck. It also exercises the spinal card, hips, thighs and arms. |

People who cannot do padmasana can even do meditation in Artha padmasana. |
