Early Life

DL Raveendra Reddy married to Smt. D.L. Subhadramma. They have two daughters. DLR’s habits include reading books. He is so authentic on economic issues. He has brought out APIIC land allocation issue and presented all the details to Sonia Gandhi personally. In his recent interview to ABN Andhra Jyothy Television channel he disclosed that restoration of various public and peoples institutions in Andhra Pradesh is his first priority in the coming years. He also shows interest in organising special camps related to agriculture and health. He traveled to USA, Singapore, HongKong and Bangkok on either officially or unofficially

Political career

Presently, DL Ravindra Reddy is Minister for Health in N Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet. He is contesting to Kadapa Parliamentary Constituency in the Bye elections 2011 with the sole aim of defeating Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy
