Araku Valley:
Araku Area is a very popular hill station which can be found close to the Orissa
Edge and the charming environment tempts the visitors for a visit, especially during
the summer .The natural charm of the Araku Area is beyond compare; it can be found
approximately at an elevation of 600-900 kilometers from the sea level and expands

about 19 tribal groups live here. The women of the tribal group of peoples wear
sarees and decorate their hairs with brightly colored flowers. Dimsa and Mayur are
the age old individuals dances at the Araku Area and it is still conducted during
the Itika Pongal Festival.
