Malkajgiri
is a suburban locality in the city of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, in India. It is
located in Ranga Reddy district, but comes under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
With a population of more than 150,000 people, Malkajgiri is itself a mini-town
with many shopping arcades, community centers, etc. It is also one of the most populated
mandals in Ranga Reddy district. Malkajgiri has several good quality schools, including
Gautami High School, Bhasyam Public School, Podar Jumbo Kids, Siddhardha convent
high school, Bhega's High School, Durga Bhavani High School a.k.a DBHS, Balaji High
School, DAV Public School, St. Martin High School, St. Ann's Grammar School, Anand
Bagh High School, etc., within the proximity making it an ideal place for kids'
education. Takshasila Public School was the first of many CBSE schools in this area.
Malkajgiri is well-connected with other parts of the city by road as well as rail.
Malkajgiri Railway Station will be converted into a major junction[3] thereby connecting
it to most of places by rail route. The principal intra-city bus routes through
this area are 16A (Secunderabad to ECIL X Roads), 16C (Secunderabad - ECIL X Roads),
16H/10H (ECIL X Roads to Kondapur).
