Chandraghanta Mata is the third Goddess among the Navadurga, nine aspects of Mother
Goddess worshipped during Durga Navaratri. Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped on the
third day (Maha Tritiya) during Sharad Navaratra.Goddess Chandraghanta pooja 2012
date is October 18. During Vasant Navratri 2012, Chandraghanta Devi is worshipped
on March 25.

of Goddess Chandraganta is little complicated. Chandraganta has a a bell-shaped
half moon in her forehead. Hence, this Navdurga mata is known as Chandraghanta.
Ten equipped Chandraghanta is in fantastic skin tone. In her five arms, she maintains
weapons like bow, pointer, Trishul (lance), blade and mace. In other three arms,
Chandraghanta maintains rosary, lotus and kamandal. Remaining two arms reveals Varada
and Abhaya mudra and blesses her devotees. Chandraghanta trips a lion. Chandraghanta
always looks like that she is prepared for war against wicked or demon devils. Her
enjoyable looks opens up all sorrows and unhappiness of her enthusiasts. Her roaring
voice alerts and creates the Demons to move.
