Lalaguda is a suburb in Secunderabad,
India. It is close to Malkajgiri. It is 7 km away from the city centre. This area
is covered with railway quarters. Lallaguda is divided into south and North Lallaguda
by the railway track dividing it. South Lallaguda was dubbed "Little England" ages
ago due to it being the home of the Anglo-Indian Community. A few years back, nearly
hundred Anglo-Indian families lived in the Railway quarters of South Lallaguda along
with ten Parsi families in one lane. Christmas used to be a carnival in this once
quaint suburbs, which would be decorated with lights and stars throughout Christmas
and new years.Now they are very few Anglo Indians but still there is a lot of love
and music in the streets
APSRTC runs buses to this area, connecting it to all parts of the city. The closest
MMTS Train Station is at Lallaguda gate, Sitaphalmandi and Secunderabad. Andhra
